Dr ROGER MOUKARBEL

Dr Roger Moukarbel is a Consultant Head & Neck Surgeon and Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon at Clemenceau Medical Center with over 19 years of experience. With a triple fellowship background in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology, Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery, and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Dr Moukarbel has contributed significantly to his field.

Dr Moukarbel earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the American University of Beirut. Following this, he underwent 10 years of advanced surgical training before assuming a full-time faculty position at AUB Medical Center.

His comprehensive surgical training included a one-year internship in General Surgery and a four-year residency in Otolaryngology & Head and Neck Surgery at AUB Medical Center. Dr Moukarbel then completed a two-year clinical fellowship in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology at the Princess Margaret Hospital Cancer Center, UHN, University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine in Canada. He later completed a two-year clinical fellowship in Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery at the London Regional Cancer Center, University of Western Ontario, and a one-year clinical fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Western Ontario in Canada.

Dr Moukarbel holds professional memberships with the Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the American Head and Neck Society, and the Canadian Academy of Facial and Plastic Reconstructive Surgery. Additionally, he is a member of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery and holds a faculty position with the AO Foundation (Craniomaxillofacial). Dr Moukarbel also serves as the president of the Lebanese Society of Otolaryngology & Head and Neck Surgery and has over 30 publications in peer-reviewed journals, numerous conference presentations, and affiliations with esteemed organisations.
