Dr Georges Wanna

Dr Georges Wanna is the Director of ENT Department at the American Hospital Dubai, a German Board Certified Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon, also French board certified otologist and neurotologist, based in Dubai. He has 12 years of experience in otolaryngology and currently sees patients at American Hospital Dubai. He is also an Associate Professor at the University of Sharjah and Gulf Medical School.

Dr Wanna completed his medical degree at RWTH Aachen University, Germany in 2009. He began his 5-year residency training in otolaryngology in 2010 in Germany. Completing  his training in 2015 he became a German Board Certified Otolaryngologist. After qualifying was appointed as a Consultant at Saint Josef Hospital in Germany, where he worked for two years. In 2017 he began a fellowship in otology and neurotology at the University Hospital Centre in Lille, France and was awarded a degree by the University of Bordeaux in 2020. Before moving to the UAE, Dr Wanna practiced as consultant at CHRU Lille University Hospital in France.

Dr Wanna is subspecialized in ear microsurgery, lateral skull base surgery, endoscopic ear surgery, cochlear implant, stapedotomy, conservative and surgical facial nerve rehabilitation. He also has expertise in general ENT conditions in both adults and children, including the following:
