Dr Alexej Rubin

Dr Alexej Rubin is a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with international training and experience across Russia, Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates. He is a double board-certified specialist in plastic and reconstructive surgery, with expertise spanning surgical, non-surgical, and minimally invasive aesthetic procedures.

Dr Rubin completed his medical training at Moscow Medical Dentistry Academy, where he obtained his Doctor of Medicine qualification. He subsequently undertook specialist surgical and plastic surgery training through the Moscow Cosmetology Research Institute and Moscow Hospital No. 40, gaining qualifications in general surgery, plastic surgery and reconstructive surgery.

He continued his specialist development internationally, completing training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Havel Hospital Berlin under Dr Dieter Witzel, and undertaking further fellowships and research experiences with Dr Steven M. Hoefflin in the United States and Dr Nicholas Nikolov in Beverly Hills.

His clinical practice includes facial aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, rhinoplasty and nasal reconstruction, facelift and neck lift procedures, blepharoplasty, facial implants, breast surgery, abdominal surgery, lipofilling, liposuction, body contouring procedures, otoplasty, and minimally invasive facial rejuvenation treatments.

Dr Rubin has also completed further training in dermatology and regenerative aesthetic techniques, including work with Dr Zein Obagi. He is involved in medical education and research and serves as a visiting professor at the Department of Plastic Surgery at Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University.

He is a member of several international plastic surgery organisations, including International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and has contributed to scientific publications, including more than 20 research articles and co-authorship of the book Beautiful Face – The First Mathematical Definition, Classification, and Creation of True Facial Beauty.
