Dr. Surindher Andhra

Dr. Surindher D.S.A is a Consultant Aesthetic, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with extensive experience in cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. His core areas of expertise include body contouring, rhinoplasty, breast surgery, face and body lifts, cleft surgery, microsurgery and free flaps, as well as neurotoxins, fillers and threads.

Dr. Surindher's experience in aesthetic surgery includes liposuction, breast augmentation and reduction, rhinoplasty, facelifts, body lifts and mummy makeovers. His reconstructive work encompasses cleft surgery, scar revision, burns management, congenital anomalies, nerve repair, replantation and reconstructive flap procedures. He has also received extensive training in cosmetic surgery, cleft surgery and microsurgery.

A significant part of his work has focused on cleft surgery. Dr. Surindher participated in the Smile Train project for eight and a half years, operating on more than 3,700 cleft cases during this period. He also devised a scoring system for the rapid audit of cleft lip repairs, for which he was awarded by the Association of Plastic Surgeons of India in 2002. His awards include the Association of Plastic Surgeons of India Best Paper Award and McNeil Award in 2002, as well as the Rotary Young Surgeon's Award in 2005.

Teaching and research have also formed part of Dr. Surindher's career. He has trained plastic surgeons and provides training in aesthetic surgery and medical aesthetics. His academic activities include research and presentations covering areas such as cleft surgery, reconstructive surgery, rhinoplasty, body contouring and aesthetic plastic surgery.
