Dr. Julio Yoshimura

Dr. Julio Yoshimura is a specialist in hair restoration and plastic surgery based in São Paulo, Brazil. He is a member of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery and the Brazilian Association of Hair Restoration Surgery. Dr. Yoshimura graduated from the Jundiaí School of Medicine in 1999 and completed his Medical Residency in General Surgery at the Hospital do Servidor Público Municipal de São Paulo in 2002. He subsequently specialised in Plastic Surgery at the same hospital, earning the title of Specialist in Plastic Surgery from the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery.

Since 2005, Dr. Yoshimura has focused on hair transplant procedures, combining surgical expertise with an emphasis on personalised patient care. He completed a Fellowship in Plastic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) in the United States in 2008. Drawing on his Japanese heritage, he brings meticulous attention to detail and technical precision to his work.

Dr. Yoshimura founded his own clinic, where he operates with a dedicated team of seven assistants who are trained to perform surgeries under his direct supervision. The clinic performs one high-performance procedure per day, with Dr. Yoshimura present throughout. Their techniques allow for the harvesting of more than 4,000 follicles (approximately 10,000 hairs) in a single surgery, typically completed in six hours.

He regularly attends international scientific events to stay current with advances in plastic surgery and hair restoration, maintaining a commitment to patient health and achieving natural, high-quality results.
