Subject: Complaint Regarding Overcharging and Lack of Consent – Dental Visit on 11 Feb 2025 I visited Dr. Heba Javed (Dental) for a check-up due to tooth pain on 11.02.2025 at 6:20 PM. I am writing to file a complaint regarding the way I was treated and charged during this visit. My consultation fee was AED 46, and I was required to pay AED 17 as coinsurance for the X-ray. Therefore, my total payable amount should have been AED 63. However, the cashier charged me AED 192. When I asked about the additional amount, I was told that an electric dental test had been performed and the remaining charges were for that. I was never informed by the doctor that this test would involve an additional cost of AED 650, nor was I asked for consent to proceed with it, which resulted in an extra AED 130 payable from my side. Furthermore: * The doctor did not explain or seek my permission before conducting the test. * The cashier issued me a receipt showing only AED 63, despite charging AED 192. * When I requested a receipt for the full payment, I was told approval had not yet been submitted. * If approval had not been obtained, I do not understand why the test was conducted without informing me or taking my permission, and why payment was collected in advance. * When I asked for a payment breakdown before paying, the cashier refused and asked me to pay first, and even after payment, no proper breakdown was provided. I am willing to pay the legitimate amount of AED 63 that I owe. I request that the additional AED 130 be refunded to me immediately. I intend to visit again tomorrow to resolve this matter. If it is not resolved, I will be compelled to pursue further action through the appropriate legal or regulatory authorities to protect my rights. Your call centre team is completely pathetic. I called regarding to book an appointment at Burjuman branch. The lady didn’t booked and appointment for me and didn’t even mentioned what time to reach by maximum for walking to the hospital it was just only mentioned doctor is available till 10pm. Mr. Naeem Uddin mentioned as manager of call centre with the attitude voice claiming it’s not our problem and you can’t blame us. It’s to be understood to walk in by 9pm So do you think the patient is a god and will get a dream to reach by maximum 9. If the slots are not available I didn’t forced to book an appointment for me I would have simply walk to another hospital. Despite of this Mr Naeem Uddin is showing me an attitude instead of an resolution, So the prime medical health centre treats the patients in such a manner??? If this is an attitude there are other hospital and clinics. I would like to get an apology call or necessary actions to be taken against such negative behaviour. Thanks to Mr. Nilesh and reception boy I don’t know his name he was Filipino at 9;30 shift please give him 5star he helped and get my consultation done

She was smiling, caring, and kind, which made a big difference. Dr. Irfan Rehman was professional and kind. He listened to all my concerns, gave me enough time, and provided clear advice. The nurse Rennisha was also extremely kind, helpful, and always smiling. I would also like to thank the entire team — the radiology staff, cashier, the nurse who gave me the injection, and the Arabic staff at the pharmacy. Everyone was very professional and kind.

It was our first time to consult with Dr Joy and she was very compassionate and really attentive to my concerns for my child. She took the time to check her and ask relevant questions, she did not rush us at all. She explained her diagnosis and course of treatment ery patiently. I am so grateful most especially because she was able to address my child's pain by giving the proper medicines; it has only been a few hours since our clinic visit and my daughter is already feeling so much better! She has been in pain and extreme discomfort the past week and it looks like she will finally have a good night sleep again. Our trip from Sharjah was DEFINITELY Worth it and I cannot thank her enough. We have gained a new trusted Pediatrician here in UAE and I will def recommend Dr Joy to other parent friends.

I met the dentist at 2:00pm, before that I asked if dental coverage was included in my insurance plan and you guys said yes and I went ahead and consulted then you guys call me at 6 pm to pay 250aed for consultation and get reimbursed ? I double checked before the consultation because I’m switching the insurance company and this will be done in 3 days , meaning no money will be refunded. And I have to pay this ? It is my health, on that we agree but I love to be informed so I plan my money. BTW this is a mistake from both our sides , mostly yours thou ! So we should both pay so a 50% discount sounds reasonably fair given that you didn’t give me choice to . I could have waited for the insurance change or found a cheaper option. Apart from these, the Doctors were Both Great and friendly.

I would like to share my experience with Dr. Usha Kiran, whom I truly believe is one of the best gynecologists in Dubai. She performed my myomectomy surgery, which lasted nearly 4 hours and was quite complex due to my multiple previous C-section pregnancies. Despite the challenges, she managed to save my uterus and remove only the fibroids. Her expertise and calm approach gave me so much confidence. Dr. Usha Kiran is extremely kind, patient, and supportive. She explained the entire procedure in detail and made sure I understood everything, which really helped ease my anxiety. I would also like to thank the staff at Prime Hospital Al Garhoud for their excellent care and attention. My stay was very comfortable, and I felt well looked after throughout. Highly recommended.

1) though my number was updated in the system calls are being made to my fathers number whose number was initially provided. The profile doesnt seem to be detached. We were told that both profiles were updated. 2 ) Where appointment calls or report calls or follow up calls are received, returning the call is very difficult as mostly the main board number is shown and contacting the number is not an option in such an event. For instance my father keeps on getting calls related to my appointment and if he is not able to confirm (being at work etc) when I am asked to call back it is difficult.

This was the worst clinic visit I’ve ever had prime Mizhr. I arrived on time and waited more than 30 minutes just to see the doctor. What made it even worse was that another patient who registered after me was allowed to enter and see the doctor before me. I spoke to the nurse, and she confirmed that I was supposed to be seen first, but said the other patient had an appointment. However, that patient went to speak with the receptionist, and after that she was allowed in before me. This situation was unfair and very unprofessional. Waiting times and appointment order should be respected

The experience at the primary medical center today was not satisfactory. We waited for over an hour for approval for my wife’s blood test, but the approval never came. As a result, our time was wasted. When we approached the staff, they attempted to contact the concerned department via a landline for approval; however, there was no response, as no one answered the calls. I also tried calling multiple times without success. Ultimately, the entire visit was spent waiting for medical approval, making the overall experience disappointing
