By chance—and great fortune—Dr. Shayesteh Khalili was seeing patients that day. Our conversation was entirely routine, focused on dates and hormonal matters, when suddenly her sharp observation was drawn to my neck from nearly two meters away. Despite there being no obvious or visible signs, she conducted a careful examination and immediately ordered further investigations. It was only later that I fully understood the significance of that moment: my condition was not visible at all. This is where the difference between a doctor who simply follows routine and a physician who is truly skilled, vigilant, and deeply specialized becomes clear—someone whose timely diagnosis can save a life. The results confirmed that I had papillary thyroid cancer. However, thanks to Dr. Khalili’s professional guidance and accurate referrals, my treatment path was promptly and correctly established, and I underwent surgery under the care of a specialist surgeon. Throughout my hospitalization, in addition to the surgeon, Dr. Khalili’s daily visits had a profound impact on my emotional well-being. Her calm presence, positive energy, and reassuring words gave me such strength that I experienced remarkably little fear or distress during a very difficult time. Following surgery, I continue my treatment under her supervision. This experience showed me that true medical care is not only about knowledge and technical skill, but about precision in diagnosis, responsibility, human compassion, and genuine commitment to a patient’s life. I am sharing this experience so that anyone seeking a reliable, attentive, and highly competent endocrinologist understands how much difference the right physician can make—sometimes, quite literally, the difference between life and loss.

My appointment was scheduled at 8:45 PM. Upon arrival, the male Filipino staff at the reception was on his phone and took around two minutes to notice me before directing me to the second reception for the Pulmonology Department. The doctor consultation itself was satisfactory. However, the nurse appeared to be in a hurry, likely due to shift ending, and I was instructed to go to another clinic for my nebulization. While I understand shift constraints, the transition was not handled well. At the second reception, the male Indian staff was rude when I asked where I could have the nebulization. He questioned me about who my nurse was—something I would not reasonably know, as nurses are not introduced to patients as they are in other hospitals. When I explained this, he simply told me to “go there and find a nurse myself,” which was unprofessional. When I eventually found a nurse, she administered the nebulization but left me unattended, instructed me to stay for 10 minutes, and told me to turn the machine off myself. She did not check on me again. During the treatment, the hose disconnected because it was not properly attached. Fortunately, I knew how to fix it myself. Overall, the experience reflected poor service, lack of coordination, and inadequate patient care, particularly from the reception and nursing staff. I hope this feedback helps improve patient experience moving forward.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at the lab during my recent visit. I was informed that I would need to wait approximately 30 minutes, as I would be accommodated in between scheduled appointments. I understood this and agreed to wait. However, I ended up waiting for almost two hours while experiencing significant pain in my lower abdomen, which was the reason for my clinic visit. During this time, I was instructed to drink a large amount of water and continued waiting in discomfort. Despite the staff being aware that I was in pain and seeing my condition, I was repeatedly ignored and not given any updates or assistance. I understand that clinics can be busy, but waiting for such an extended period while in pain, without proper communication or consideration, was very distressing. I am extremely disappointed with the level of care and service provided. I hope this feedback will be taken seriously and used to improve patient care in the future.

Very badly organised prime medical center which i have visited. The staff in the reception tries to teach you when you tell any complaint. No nurse at the doctor’s room to inform whose turn is next. Afterall when everyone is waiting, some random person will come from nowhere and go inside the room. When you ask about it, they say priority appointment. But when we ask what is priority appointment nonody knows. Very badly organised. And reception staff also not polite enough to explain things properly. And regarding appointment, i had appointment which was booked in the application and when i came to the reception it was not there and i think they removed and was asking for message which i didnt receive. I had to booked one appointment for future just to show him that we normally dont receive any message when we book appointment in the app. Very bad experience from this branch.

My appointment was scheduled at 6:40 PM. Due to traffic while traveling from Sharjah to the clinic, I arrived slightly late at 6:55 PM. A male nurse did not allow me to directly see the doctor and advised me to wait for one hour. When I eventually saw the doctor, I was asked to undergo an X-ray. After the X-ray, I had to wait again for approximately 20 minutes. The doctor informed me that everything looked fine and prescribed a gel to apply along with painkillers. However, I am concerned because I am still experiencing shoulder pain, and I am unsure why the pain persists if everything appears normal. Additionally, the male nurse informed me that physiotherapy approval would take approximately three days.

I was made to wait for about an hour and I had to pay AED 800 + medicine for a 5 minute consultation with the dentist after being redirected by the ENT specialist because they didn’t think that my ear pain was due to infection but rather due to something related to my jaw. The dentist suggested I get a mouth guard, which would have been another AED 2500 out of pocket, to which I said I would get back to them after talking to insurance. All in all, I came back from the hospital with just pain medication which was not covered by my insurance and no solution for my hurting ear. Will not be coming back. All staff however were very polite and helpful.

Despite having a booked appointment , had to wait for 20 mins . And the Dr rushed us out of her cabin in 10 mins. We came from Sharjah all the way to see a female Indian pediatrician, and this is the service we got despite having a booked appointment. There was zero personal attention , rushed conversation, and unnecessary jumping to the conclusions without hearing the details of our child . I hope this service improves and the doctors gets trained to give personal care and attention to every parent and child. Thanks

I was with my husband, I am pregnant and staff at cash counter Fahad Palekar was very rude and disrespectfull, he was literally shouting at us for not being available when token came we requested him as we had multiple appointments and there was rush. So we sat on other side it took a while to come till cash counter . Moreover the cashier showed us his batch to go ahead and put complaint . He need to be polite with patients. This was raffle surprising and not at all acceptable behaviour

She proposes times that need 24 hrs gap to proposing other times where I confirm within less than 60 seconds only for her to say that slot is taken !!! Worst experience ever . Took me an hour to book 2 slots with back n forth. And the slots she proposed after it was booked is gonna make me stuck in traffic for 2 hours at least
