Let me breakdown my total experience Communication: Even before we had the final test results, Dr. Keerthi was highly detailed and clear in explaining the details of the disease and what are the different options and pathways for each stage of the disease. Once my wife's test results were out, he was quite supportive and positive yet transparent in explaining what is the true nature of the situation and what can we expect in terms of treatment and outcomes. In terms of the procedure, he was almost academic in explaining the various steps and risks at each step and also detailed what it would mean post-surgery, during recovery and beyond. Although surgery was already planned, he took the wise decision to cancel it after doing an initial laparoscopy.
