Dr Zdenek Dubrava

 Mr Zdenek Dubrava is a specialized Gastrointestinal Tract surgeon known for his expertise in advanced minimally invasive surgical techniques. 

Mr Dubrava’s specialties include Reflux disease, Oesophagogastric cancer, Morbid obesity, and Hiatus hernia. Additionally, he offers specialized General Surgery services encompassing Gastroscopy, Hernia repair, Gallbladder surgery, Splenectomy, and Varicose veins treatment. 

After earning his medical degree from the University of Melbourne in 2000, Mr Dubrava completed surgical training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and The Alfred, achieving Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2010. Further, he dedicated two additional years to subspecialty training in Upper Bariatric Surgery, Gastrointestinal, and Endoscopy. 

Mr Dubrava serves as a consultant surgeon at Monash Medical Centre, holding the position of Head of Acute General Surgery. Additionally, he is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at Monash University's Department of Surgery. He holds appointments and performs surgeries at The Alfred, Sandringham, and Casey hospitals, along with Jessie MacPherson and Linacre Private hospitals.
