Dr Xiaoman Ding

Dr Xiaoman Ding is a highly experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a clinical approach focused on reassurance and safety, Dr Ding supports women and their families through all stages of pregnancy and reproductive health. She is committed to delivering personalised care that minimises potential risks and addresses the unique needs of each patient.

Dr Ding holds both a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). She completed her initial medical training and extensive postgraduate work overseas, including a significant tenure at a leading tertiary hospital in Beijing, China, where she managed complex obstetric and gynaecological cases. After relocating to Australia, she gained further clinical experience across several major metropolitan hospitals. She successfully completed the overseas-trained specialist assessment to receive her Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) in 2018. Additionally, she serves as a training Supervisor for the college, guiding the next generation of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

In her obstetric practice, Dr Ding has a strong interest in managing high-risk pregnancies, including conditions such as pre-eclampsia, placenta accreta, gestational diabetes, twin pregnancies, and vaginal birth after caesarean section (VBAC). Her gynaecological expertise encompasses the management of abnormal menstrual bleeding, pelvic pain, ovarian cysts, pelvic organ prolapse, and family planning. She is highly skilled in performing advanced surgical procedures, including laparoscopic, abdominal, and vaginal surgeries, as well as colposcopies and intrauterine contraceptive device (IUCD) insertions.
