Dr William Huynh

Dr William Huynh is a highly qualified and dedicated Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who provides comprehensive care as a Specialist. He is committed to maintaining the highest surgical standards while ensuring his patients feel comfortable, reassured, and well-informed throughout their treatment journey. With a patient-centred philosophy, Dr Huynh focuses on delivering precise, high-quality surgical outcomes tailored to the unique needs of each individual.

Dr Huynh completed his Bachelor of Dental Science with First Class Honours at the University of Queensland in 2005. Following service as a Dental Officer in the air force, he went on to obtain his Bachelor of Science in Dentistry with Honours and his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Adelaide. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, having been awarded the prestigious college medal for achieving the highest marks in both his primary and final fellowship examinations. To further refine his expertise, he completed an additional sub-speciality fellowship in orthognathic surgery at a major teaching hospital. Dr Huynh maintains active professional memberships with the Australian and New Zealand Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.

In his clinical practice, Dr Huynh covers the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery. He has a particular clinical interest in orthognathic surgery and the correction of jaw deformities, alongside extensive experience in dental implantology, bone and sinus grafting, and the removal of impacted or complex teeth, including wisdom teeth. His expertise also extends to the management of facial trauma, head and neck pathology, and facial skin cancer reconstruction. Alongside his clinical practice, he contributes to the public healthcare system as a Consultant Surgeon, where he helps train the next generation of Specialists and remains at the forefront of advancements in his field.
