Dr Vivek Gupta

Dr Vivek Gupta is a general and interventional Cardiologist.

Dr Gupta graduated from one of the top medical schools in India. He later moved to Australia and completed a Master of Public Health at Deakin University. Dr Gupta undertook basic Physician training at the Austin Hospital. He then undertook advanced training in cardiology in Launceston before concluding their cardiology fellowship at Monash Medical Centre.

Dr Gupta is a proficient operator in the cardiac cath lab. They are highly skilled in diagnostic coronary angiography and same-day stenting. Dr Gupta is also skilled in haemodynamic and anatomical assessment of questionable lesions using Fractional flow reserve (FFR) and Intravascular ultrasound (IVUS). Their knowledge of Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) lesion assessment is invaluable.
