Dr Tracey Gilchrist is a highly qualified Obstetrician and Gynaecologist dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based, and personalised care to women and their families. She supports women through all stages of their reproductive journeys, offering comprehensive care for both low-risk and high-risk pregnancies. Dr Gilchrist is committed to fostering a reassuring and supportive environment, ensuring that each patient receives tailored medical attention that respects their individual preferences and clinical needs.

With a strong focus on maternal-foetal health, Dr Gilchrist possesses advanced expertise in managing medically and surgically complex pregnancies. Her clinical interests include high-risk obstetrics, complex Caesarean sections, and the management of specialised antenatal conditions such as gestational diabetes, multiple pregnancies, and preterm labour. She also provides expert preconception counselling and postpartum care, ensuring continuity of support from the initial planning stages through to the weeks following delivery.

Dr Gilchrist completed her academic foundation with a Bachelor of Science with Honours from the University of Melbourne in 2005. She went on to obtain her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Notre Dame in 2009. Following her medical degree, she undertook extensive specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology at a major tertiary women's hospital, alongside further clinical training in regional health services. In 2020, she achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, cementing her status as a leading Specialist in her field.
