Dr. Tom Jaunay

Dr. Tom Jaunay is a highly qualified and dedicated Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who provides comprehensive surgical care for conditions affecting the mouth, teeth, jaws, and face. Based in Miranda, New South Wales, he is committed to delivering precise, patient-centred treatment that addresses both functional and aesthetic concerns. Dr. Jaunay's clinical approach is characterised by a deep understanding of each patient's unique expectations, ensuring that their aesthetic and functional goals are realised at every stage of their surgical journey.

Dr. Jaunay completed his medical training at the University of Adelaide, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2005, alongside his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS). He subsequently undertook extensive specialist training, completing a prestigious fellowship as a Craniofacial Surgeon in South Australia under the guidance of Professor David David. Dr. Jaunay is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (FRACDS (OMS)) and a Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy (FPFA). He also maintains active professional membership with the Australian and New Zealand Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (ANZAOMS).

With a broad scope of practice spanning both medicine and dentistry, Dr. Jaunay specialises in surgery of the facial bones, mouth, chin, and jawline. His clinical expertise includes meticulous dental implant surgery, corrective and rejuvenating jaw surgery, and digitally assisted dentoalveolar surgery. He is highly skilled in performing wisdom teeth removal, managing facial trauma, treating benign oral pathology, and performing complex jaw reconstruction. Additionally, he provides surgical solutions for dentofacial deformities and the treatment of oropharyngeal malignancies, utilising advanced techniques to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
