Dr Thomas Dickson

Dr Thomas Dickson is a highly dedicated General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. He is deeply committed to delivering inclusive, whole-person healthcare, with a particular focus on supporting the diverse needs of his patients. Dr Dickson is known for creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental environment where individuals can openly discuss their health concerns. His practice is built on the principles of empathy, progressive medicine, and reducing healthcare disparities.

As a Specialist General Practitioner and Psychotherapist, Dr Dickson has developed extensive expertise in several key areas of medicine. He has a strong clinical interest in mental health and wellbeing, offering tailored support and psychotherapy. Additionally, he is highly skilled in sexual health, transgender and gender-diverse care, and ADHD management. Dr Dickson is also an accredited HIV s100 prescriber, enabling him to provide specialised HIV care and treatment, alongside managing hepatitis B and other complex sexual health matters.

Dr Dickson completed his medical training at the University of Queensland, where he earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from the same institution. To further his expertise in sexual health, he obtained a Master of Medicine in Sexual and Reproductive Health from the University of Sydney. Dr Dickson is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and is accredited as a Voluntary Assisted Dying Practitioner by Safer Care Victoria.
