Dr Themis Michael

Dr Themis Michael is a highly dedicated Consultant Paediatrician who specialises in both General and Developmental Paediatrics. With a compassionate and family-centred approach, he is committed to supporting children, young people, and their families to achieve the best possible medical, developmental, and behavioural outcomes. Dr Michael provides comprehensive care for children of all ages, from newborns and infants through to adolescents, ensuring that each patient receives personalised and reassuring support.

In his clinical practice, Dr Michael addresses a broad spectrum of general paediatric concerns, including infant feeding, sleep difficulties, growth issues, constipation, asthma, and eczema. He also possesses extensive expertise in developmental and behavioural paediatrics. He conducts thorough assessments and provides ongoing management for conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), global developmental delay, specific learning difficulties, and anxiety. Additionally, he is accredited to administer the Griffiths III Developmental Scale, allowing him to deliver precise developmental evaluations.

Dr Michael completed his undergraduate medical training in Germany at the University of Witten/Herdecke. He gained valuable clinical experience practising paediatrics in Germany and New Zealand before returning to establish his practice in Australia. Dr Michael is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. He also maintains active professional memberships with the Australasian Society for Developmental Paediatrics and the Australian ADHD Professionals Association, ensuring his practice remains aligned with the latest advancements in paediatric medicine.
