Dr Thao Truong

Dr Thao Truong is a highly qualified Specialist Oral Surgeon and Dentist who provides comprehensive surgical care. Known for her calm, empathetic, and patient-focused approach, she combines meticulous surgical planning with transparent communication to guide individuals through their treatment journeys. Dr Truong works in close collaboration with Restorative Dentists, Orthodontists, and Medical Specialists to ensure seamless continuity of care, prioritising evidence-based planning, minimally invasive techniques, and predictable recovery outcomes.

Her clinical practice encompasses the full scope of oral surgery, with particular expertise in complex tooth extractions, wisdom teeth removal, and dental implantology. Dr Truong is also highly skilled in advanced bone grafting, sinus lifts, and the management of impacted teeth and oral pathology. Alongside her clinical work, she is dedicated to education and research, serving as a Senior Lecturer and Clinical Educator at the University of Sydney, where she mentors postgraduate trainees and dental students.
