Dr. Thao Lam

Dr. Thao Lam is a Gastroenterologist with a subspecialty interest in managing complex liver diseases. Dr. Lam is passionate about optimising the management of patients with viral hepatitis, alcoholic and non-alcoholic liver disease. Dr. Lam is trained in the use of non-invasive tests for liver fibrosis, such as the Fibroscan. Apart from liver diseases, their other clinical interests include gastroesophageal reflux disease, peptic ulcer disease, bowel cancer screening and prevention and management of functional bowel disorders, such as irritable bowel syndrome. Dr. Lam is accredited in gastroscopy, colonoscopy and capsule endoscopy.
