Dr Surya Krishnan

Dr Surya Krishnan is a highly skilled Obstetrician and Gynaecologist based in Sydney, Australia. He is dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive, and personalised care to women at all stages of life. With extensive expertise in both obstetrics and gynaecology, Dr Krishnan specialises in managing low and high-risk pregnancies, including multiple pregnancies, advanced maternal age, and post-IVF pregnancies. In addition to obstetric care, he is highly proficient in advanced laparoscopic, vaginal, and robotic surgeries. His clinical interests include complex reproductive surgery for infertility, endometriosis, fibroids, and chronic pelvic pain, as well as advanced surgical treatments for pelvic organ prolapse, incontinence, and hysterectomies.

Dr Krishnan completed his medical degree at the University of New South Wales, earning a Bachelor of Science (Medicine) and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery. He completed his specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology to become a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. To further refine his surgical skills, he undertook advanced fellowships in gynae-endoscopic surgery across the United States, France, and Australia, alongside a fellowship at an advanced endoscopic oncological cancer centre in India. He also holds a Master of Surgery in gynae-endoscopic surgery from the University of Sydney. Committed to advancing his field, he serves as a Surgical Supervisor for specialists in training and regularly facilitates educational workshops for medical practitioners.
