Dr Sunil Warrier

Dr Sunil Warrier is a highly qualified and dedicated Ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care. He specialises in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of eye conditions, offering both medical and surgical solutions. His clinical focus encompasses routine and complex cataract surgery, where he utilises standard and premium intraocular lens technology to help patients achieve optimal visual outcomes. With advanced training in several sub-speciality fields, Dr Warrier offers expert care in medical retina, glaucoma, and ocular oncology. He is also skilled in performing eyelid malposition corrections and administering intra-ocular injections. Dr Warrier began his medical journey by earning a Bachelor of Pharmacy, followed by a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Flinders University. He completed his residency training in medicine and surgery, and subsequently obtained a Master of Medicine from the University of Sydney. After completing his specialist training in ophthalmology in Queensland, he was awarded the Prevent Blindness Foundation Scholarship. This enabled him to pursue further sub-speciality fellowship training in ocular oncology, glaucoma, and medical retina at a prestigious centre of excellence in the United Kingdom. Dr Warrier is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists.
