Dr Stuart Murch

Dr Stuart Murch is a highly dedicated Clinical Cardiologist and Cardiac Imaging Specialist who provides comprehensive care for patients with cardiovascular conditions. With a strong focus on non-invasive diagnostic techniques, Dr Murch is committed to delivering precise assessments and personalised management plans. His clinical expertise spans a wide range of cardiac imaging modalities, allowing him to accurately evaluate heart structure and function to guide optimal patient care.

In his clinical practice, Dr Murch specialises in advanced cardiac imaging, including transthoracic, transoesophageal, and stress echocardiography. He also possesses extensive expertise in cardiac computed tomography (CT) and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). These sophisticated diagnostic tools enable him to thoroughly investigate complex cardiovascular issues, ensuring that patients receive timely and targeted therapeutic interventions.

Dr Murch completed his medical degree at the University of Newcastle, graduating in 2001. He subsequently undertook specialist training in cardiology at major teaching hospitals in London, United Kingdom, and Melbourne, Victoria. To further refine his skills, he completed advanced fellowships in cardiac MRI, cardiac CT, and echocardiography at a prestigious university hospital in London. Dr Murch is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and a Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (FSCMR). Additionally, he has attained Australasian Level A accreditation in cardiac CT.

Dedicated to clinical excellence and leadership, Dr Murch also serves as a Director of Cardiology within the public health sector.
