Dr David Chandrakumar

Dr. David Chandrakumar is a highly qualified Cardiologist known for his dedication to patient care and expertise in the field of cardiology. He earned his medical degree and Masters in Medicine with distinction from the University of New South Wales in 2014, and his outstanding performance was recognised with the Ian Webster medal.

Dr. Chandrakumar completed an internship and residency at Westmead Hospital, followed by basic physician training at Nepean Hospital. He then pursued specialised training in Cardiology at Blacktown Hospital, completing his training in 2021.

With special interests in non-invasive imaging techniques, including CT coronary angiography, the management of heart failure, and prevention of heat disease, Dr. Chandrakumar provides comprehensive cardiology care. He holds admitting rights at Norwest Private Hospital, where he performs procedures like transoesophageal echocardiography and cardioversion. Additionally, he has Level A accreditation for the reporting of CT coronary angiograms
