Dr Stewart Healy

Dr Stewart Healy is a highly qualified Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist who specialises in cardiac rhythm management. With a patient-centred approach, he is dedicated to diagnosing and managing a wide range of cardiovascular conditions, helping patients achieve optimal heart health. His clinical practice focuses on providing comprehensive care for individuals experiencing heart rhythm disturbances, ensuring they receive tailored and reassuring guidance throughout their treatment journey.

Dr Healy has a particular clinical interest in the management of atrial fibrillation and device therapy for arrhythmias and heart failure. His expertise encompasses advanced cardiac rhythm treatments, including atrial fibrillation ablation and pacemaker implantations. By utilising state-of-the-art diagnostic techniques and non-invasive imaging, he is able to design precise treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient, aiming to improve their quality of life and long-term cardiovascular outcomes.

Dr Healy obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honours from the University of Tasmania in 2001. He completed his basic medical training in Tasmania before undertaking advanced clinical training in cardiology. To further refine his expertise, he completed a twelve-month non-invasive imaging fellowship, followed by a comprehensive three-year fellowship in electrophysiology, which included intensive training at a high-volume electrophysiology centre in Canada focusing on atrial fibrillation ablation. Dr Healy is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP).
