Dr Steven Andrews

Dr Steven Andrews is a highly regarded Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in surgery of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand, including complex microsurgery. With a patient-centred approach, he focuses on restoring function and improving the quality of life for individuals experiencing upper limb conditions. His clinical practice encompasses reconstructive surgery for degenerative conditions, joint replacement, and the management of acute trauma. Additionally, Dr Andrews provides expert medical opinions and independent medico-legal assessments for various sectors.

Dr Andrews completed his medical degree at the University of Queensland in 1993. Following his initial medical studies, he undertook extensive specialist training in orthopaedic surgery, qualifying as an Orthopaedic Surgeon in 2001. To further refine his expertise, he completed several prestigious post-fellowship training programmes in hand, wrist, microsurgery, shoulder, and elbow surgery across Queensland and New South Wales. He is also a Master Certified Independent Medical Examiner with the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners.

As a dedicated professional, Dr Andrews is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons and a Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association.
