Dr Stephanie Wallwork

Dr Stephanie Wallwork is a highly dedicated Clinical and Laboratory Haematologist who provides comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of blood disorders. With a compassionate and patient-centred approach, she specialises in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of both malignant and non-malignant haematological conditions. Dr Wallwork is deeply committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based medical care, ensuring that her patients receive personalised treatment pathways tailored to their unique clinical needs.

Her clinical expertise spans the full spectrum of haematology. Dr Wallwork has extensive experience in managing haematological malignancies, including leukaemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, myelodysplastic syndromes, and myeloproliferative diseases. In addition to blood cancers, she is highly skilled in investigating undifferentiated full blood count abnormalities and managing complex bleeding and clotting disorders. Her dual training as a Clinical and Laboratory Haematologist allows her to seamlessly bridge the gap between laboratory diagnostics and direct patient care, providing a holistic and precise approach to treatment.

Dr Wallwork graduated with honours from the University of Queensland. She completed her comprehensive training as a Physician and Specialist Haematologist at leading tertiary hospitals and cancer centres in Melbourne. Demonstrating academic and clinical excellence, she was awarded the prestigious Eva Raik Memorial Prize in 2021 for achieving the highest result in her specialist examinations. Dr Wallwork is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (FRCPA). To remain at the forefront of medical advancements, she maintains active membership with prominent research and clinical trial groups, including the Australasian Leukaemia & Lymphoma Group (ALLG) and the Haematology Society of Australia and New Zealand (HSANZ).
