Dr Berkemeier has a diverse range of clinical interests within the field of women's health. She specialises in preventative healthcare, cervical screening, and colposcopy. Her expertise also extends to minimally invasive surgery, including laparoscopic hysterectomy, as well as the management of complex menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, and vulvovaginal disorders. By utilising the latest medical advancements, she is able to offer modern, tailored solutions for both routine and complex gynaecological concerns.

Dr Berkemeier completed her medical degree at the University of Sydney, where she first developed her passion for women's health. She went on to complete her specialist Fellowship training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology through a major metropolitan hospital network in South Western Sydney. After obtaining her Fellowship, she worked as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in Northern New South Wales and the Macarthur region before establishing her practice in Wollongong. In addition to her clinical work, she is deeply committed to medical education, actively training and mentoring Junior Doctors and Medical Students.
