Dr Simon Kerr

Dr Simon Kerr is a dedicated and dynamic Principal General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, high-quality primary healthcare. With a warm and reassuring approach, he focuses on building strong, long-term relationships with his patients, believing that continuity of care is essential for achieving the best possible health outcomes. Dr Kerr works collaboratively with individuals and families across generations, tailoring his medical guidance to meet the unique needs of each patient. He is also a strong advocate for integrating modern digital technology into clinical practice to optimise patient care and health management.

Dr Kerr completed his undergraduate medical degree at the University of Glasgow, obtaining his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. He qualified as a General Practitioner and secured his membership with the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2013. Following his relocation to Australia in 2014, he became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. In addition to his clinical work, Dr Kerr serves as an accredited Clinical Competency Examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, contributing to the assessment and training of future medical professionals.

Before focusing fully on family medicine, Dr Kerr gained extensive clinical experience by training in several major specialty areas within leading hospitals in the United Kingdom. His diverse background includes training in obstetrics and gynaecology, emergency medicine, psychiatry, and palliative care. This broad foundation enables him to address a wide range of medical concerns. He is also an accredited Antenatal Shared Care Provider, allowing him to support expectant mothers throughout their pregnancy journeys.
