Dr Shauna Watts

Dr Shauna Watts is a dedicated and highly qualified General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care to individuals of all ages and genders. With a strong commitment to promoting long-term health and wellbeing, she delivers evidence-based medical care that is tailored to the unique needs of each patient. Dr Watts is passionate about family medicine and takes a holistic approach to healthcare, ensuring that physical, mental, and lifestyle factors are all considered in her clinical practice.

Throughout her career, Dr Watts has developed significant expertise in women's health, with a particular focus on perimenopause and postmenopause care. She is deeply interested in the intersection of midlife transitions, skin health, ageing, longevity, and weight management. In addition to menopause support, her clinical interests encompass women's mental health, lifestyle medicine, and medical aesthetics. She is dedicated to helping patients navigate these complex areas of health with empathy, clarity, and personalised treatment plans.

Dr Watts completed her undergraduate medical training at Queen's University Belfast, where she was awarded the prestigious Evelyn Boyd Scott Gold Medal for General Practice. She went on to obtain her Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in the United Kingdom, passing her professional examinations with distinction in 2003. After relocating to Australia, she was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2013. Dr Watts also holds a Diploma in Family Planning, a Diploma in Lifestyle Medicine, and a Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine. She is an active member of the Australian Menopause Society and is recognised as a Certified Lifestyle Medicine Physician.
