Dr Shane Woods is a highly qualified General Practitioner and Consultant Psychiatrist who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a unique dual-specialisation in both general medicine and mental health, Dr Woods is dedicated to supporting his patients' overall well-being. In his clinical practice, Dr Woods focuses on a wide range of general health and psychiatric conditions. His areas of clinical interest include adult attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, and depression, including adjustment disability disorder. He is also highly skilled in managing complex conditions such as dissociative disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, personality disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), schizophrenia, and somatoform disorders. Additionally, Dr Woods provides support for individuals experiencing drug and alcohol issues, as well as eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and bulimia nervosa.

Dr Woods completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Western Sydney, Australia, in 2012. He went on to obtain a Diploma of Child Health, further expanding his expertise in paediatric care. Committed to the highest standards of medical practice, he achieved his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2017 and his Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists in 2024.
