Dr Shane Charles Morley

Dr Shane Charles Morley is a dedicated and highly compassionate General Practitioner who serves the Subiaco community. He is deeply passionate about general practice and firmly believes that clinical excellence should be continually strived for in primary care. As a Clinical Director and Practice Owner, Dr Charles Morley has fostered a collaborative and welcoming environment where patient comfort and outstanding care are the core priorities. He takes great pride in delivering comprehensive, patient-centred healthcare that supports individuals and families through all stages of life.

Dr Charles Morley spent his childhood on a farm in Kojonup before moving to Perth for his secondary education. He went straight into medical school at the University of Western Australia, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). Following his graduation, he gained valuable clinical experience working as a Junior Doctor at a major tertiary hospital for several years. He then transitioned into general practice, working extensively at a family clinic in the Manning and Como areas before establishing his own state-of-the-art medical practice in Subiaco.

Throughout his career, Dr Charles Morley has maintained a broad interest in all aspects of family medicine. He has developed particular clinical expertise in preventative medicine, especially for middle-aged patients, as well as mental health care, focusing on depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. His diverse areas of interest also encompass child health, women's health, perinatal mental health, and men's health. Additionally, he is highly skilled in joint medicine, skin cancer checks, and contraceptive procedures such as Implanon insertion.
