Dr Surendar Advani

Dr Surendar Advani is an experienced General Practitioner and a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Since graduating from Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences in 2004, he has built a diverse clinical background, transitioning from general medicine to skin cancer medicine and surgery.

His professional journey began at Eastside Medical Centre in Bundaberg, where he developed a strong foundation in performing skin excisions. In 2023, he further expanded his expertise during a nine-month tenure at a specialised Skin Cancer Clinic in Shepparton, gaining extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of skin cancer.

With a strong clinical interest in procedural medicine, Dr Advani has pursued extensive postgraduate training to provide advanced care in dermatology and mental health. He has completed additional qualifications in skin cancer surgery and skin cancer medicine, enabling him to deliver evidence-based care using the latest techniques while remaining up to date with advances in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of skin cancer.

Beyond his surgical work, he is dedicated to a holistic approach to patient wellbeing. By combining his interests in skin cancer, and mental health including Adult ADHD diagnosis and treatment, he provides comprehensive, patient-centred care that supports both physical health and overall wellbeing.
