Dr Sarah Tierney

Dr Sarah Tierney is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred healthcare to individuals and families. Dr Tierney completed her academic training at the University of Queensland, where she graduated with both a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Medicine. To further her clinical skills, she gained extensive practical experience working within major hospitals in Brisbane before choosing to specialise in primary care. She successfully completed her postgraduate training and obtained her General Practice Fellowship in 2007.

While Dr Tierney enjoys the diverse challenges of all areas of General Practice, she has developed a strong clinical interest in women's and children's health. Her practice encompasses a wide range of services, including preventative health assessments, immunisations, and weight management. Additionally, she is skilled in performing minor procedures, such as Mirena removals and skin checks, ensuring her patients receive thorough and well-rounded care.
