Dr Sanjay Adusumilli

Dr Sanjay Adusumilli is a General and Colorectal Surgeon. Dr Adusumilli graduated from Monash University before undertaking surgical training at Westmead Hospital. They pursued further sub-specialty training in colorectal surgery through the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSSANZ). This was undertaken in Fremantle Hospital and Oxford University Hospitals (United Kingdom).

Dr Adusumilli performs surgery for both general surgical conditions and colorectal disorders. They have training in advanced laparoscopic surgery and are able to perform surgery using minimally invasive techniques. They have also received training in robotic surgery and perform gastroscopies and colonoscopies.

Dr Adusumilli completed a Masters of Surgery at the University of Sydney. Their research focused on colonic bleeding and they have presented and published on an array of topics including faecal incontinence, obstructed defecation, colonic bleeding and single incision surgery.
