Dr Sandeep Tewari

Dr Sandeep Tewari is a highly regarded Orthopaedic Surgeon who provides comprehensive care to both adult and paediatric patients. With a clinical focus on lower limb surgery and paediatric deformity correction, he is dedicated to delivering compassionate, personalised, and high-quality treatment. His practice encompasses a wide range of general orthopaedic procedures, including joint replacements and the management of orthopaedic trauma, ensuring that patients of all ages receive tailored care to restore their mobility and improve their quality of life.

Dr Tewari began his medical journey in India, where he completed his Bachelor of Science before earning his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and his Master of Surgery in Orthopaedics. After relocating to Australia, he completed his specialist training in orthopaedics and undertook a prestigious Fellowship in Paediatric Orthopaedics. To further refine his expertise, he completed international visitations at leading global institutions, including training in the Ponseti technique for club foot. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) and a Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association (FAOrthA). Additionally, he holds active memberships with the Australian Paediatric Orthopaedic Society (APOS) and the Australian Medical Association NSW (AMA NSW).

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr Tewari is deeply committed to medical education, research, and community outreach. He serves as a Conjoint Senior Lecturer, sharing his extensive knowledge with the next generation of medical students and orthopaedic trainees, and has been appointed to the Court of Examiners for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. An active researcher, his work has been published in numerous national and international medical journals and presented at global forums. Dr Tewari also regularly participates in orthopaedic outreach programmes, volunteering his specialist skills to improve the lives of young and deserving patients in underserved communities.
