Dr. Roger Chen

Dr. Roger Chen is a highly accomplished Consultant Endocrinologist who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care in Concord, Australia. With a deep commitment to improving patient outcomes, he specialises in diagnosing and managing a wide range of endocrine and metabolic disorders. Dr. Chen completed his medical training at the University of Sydney, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery with Honours. He subsequently obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 1996. Furthering his academic pursuits, he completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at the University of Sydney, focusing on the metabolic effects of growth hormone excess and deficiency. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Chen is a Conjoint Professor at the University of New South Wales and a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Sydney, where he actively co-ordinates postgraduate endocrinology education and trains future generations of medical professionals.

Throughout his career, Dr. Chen has developed extensive expertise in general endocrinology, with a particular focus on diabetes management, obesity, and thyroid disorders. His clinical interests also encompass adrenal and pituitary disorders, osteoporosis, and andrology.
