Dr Roderic Warren

Dr Roderic Warren is a highly accomplished and dedicated Cardiologist who specialises in diagnosing and treating a wide range of cardiovascular conditions. With a commitment to delivering patient-centred care, he focuses on providing reassuring and comprehensive support to individuals navigating heart health challenges. His clinical expertise spans general cardiology, with a particular focus on advanced interventional procedures designed to restore and maintain optimal cardiac function.

Dr Warren completed his medical degree at the University of Melbourne, graduating with first-class honours in both medicine and surgery, and receiving prestigious awards for his academic excellence. He undertook his specialist cardiology training at a major tertiary hospital in Melbourne before being awarded a National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) scholarship to complete a PhD focusing on cholesterol research. To further refine his skills, he completed advanced fellowship training in coronary angioplasty at a renowned medical centre in the United States. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP).

Throughout his career, Dr Warren has been instrumental in developing and establishing emergency cardiac services, particularly acute infarct programmes that provide rapid care for patients experiencing heart attacks. He is highly regarded for his expertise in performing complex interventional cardiac catheter procedures, including both elective and emergency coronary angioplasty. In addition to his clinical practice, he has contributed significantly to the medical community by training numerous local and international Interventional Cardiologists, ensuring the continuation of high standards in cardiac care.
