Dr Robyn Laube

Dr Robyn Laube is an accredited Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist who is dedicated to providing high-quality, individualised care to her patients. With a compassionate and patient-centred approach, she diagnoses and treats a comprehensive range of gastrointestinal and liver disorders. Dr Laube is committed to ensuring that each patient receives a tailored treatment plan that addresses their unique symptoms and health goals, helping them achieve optimal digestive wellness.

Dr Laube graduated with distinction from her medical studies at the University of New South Wales, obtaining both a Bachelor of Medicine and a Doctor of Medicine. She subsequently completed her advanced specialist training in gastroenterology and undertook a dedicated clinical fellowship. Committed to academic excellence and research, she has also earned a Master of Public Health and a Doctor of Philosophy, focusing her doctoral research on inflammatory bowel disease during pregnancy. Dr Laube is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and holds accreditation for gastroscopy and colonoscopy from the Conjoint Committee for the Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Additionally, she serves as a Conjoint Lecturer, actively contributing to the education and training of future medical professionals.

Her primary subspecialty interest lies in inflammatory bowel disease and women's gastrointestinal health, particularly during preconception, pregnancy, and breastfeeding. Dr Laube's broad clinical expertise also encompasses functional gut disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome, gastro-oesophageal reflux, constipation, diarrhoea, iron deficiency anaemia, and liver disease. She is highly skilled in performing essential diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including colonoscopy, gastroscopy, capsule endoscopy, polypectomy, chromoendoscopy, and haemorrhoid therapy.
