Dr Richard Marshall

Dr Richard Marshall is a highly dedicated General Practitioner who provides comprehensive healthcare services. With a strong focus on rural medicine, he has developed advanced clinical skills in several key areas, including obstetrics, anaesthetics, and emergency medicine. Dr Marshall is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care, ensuring that individuals and families receive the support they need. In addition to his primary care duties, he serves as a Visiting Medical Officer, providing vital anaesthetic and emergency services to the local community, and runs regular pre-operative clinics.

Dr Marshall completed his medical education at the University of Sydney, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1985. To further support his diverse clinical interests, he obtained a Diploma of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. He is also a Fellow of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine. These qualifications reflect his extensive training and dedication to maintaining the highest standards of medical practice.

Passionate about the future of medicine, Dr Marshall is actively involved in the education and mentorship of the next generation of healthcare professionals. He serves as an Accredited Supervisor for both the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine. In this role, he supervises and guides Rural General Practitioner Registrars, university medical undergraduates, and John Flynn Scholarship medical students, sharing his wealth of knowledge and clinical expertise to help shape future medical practitioners.
