Dr Raphael Kai Yan Wong

Dr Raphael Kai Yan Wong is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. Dr Kai Yan Wong believes in a collaborative approach to healthcare, working closely with patients to achieve optimal health outcomes and support them through every stage of their wellness journey.

Dr Kai Yan Wong completed his medical training at the Australian National University, where he obtained his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery with Honours in 2011, having previously completed a Bachelor of Philosophy with Honours. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and holds a Diploma in Child Health, alongside a Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine. Committed to medical education and the development of future healthcare professionals, he has also been actively involved in teaching medical students and supervising General Practice Registrars.

Before settling into his current role in Canberra, Dr Kai Yan Wong gained extensive clinical experience across diverse healthcare settings. He completed his hospital residency across several regional and metropolitan hospitals, followed by General Practice training in rural New South Wales, where he also served as a Visiting Medical Officer at a local district hospital. His broad clinical background has equipped him with a versatile skill set, allowing him to manage a wide range of medical conditions. Dr Kai Yan Wong has particular clinical interests in general medicine, minor surgical procedures, paediatrics, sexual and reproductive health, and skin cancer medicine.
