Dr Ranjit Kunchur

Dr Ranjit Kunchur is a highly qualified Specialist Plastic, Reconstructive and Craniomaxillofacial Surgeon who provides comprehensive care to his patients. With a unique dual qualification in both medicine and dentistry, he brings an exceptional level of anatomical knowledge and surgical precision to his practice. Dr Kunchur is dedicated to delivering patient-centred care, ensuring that individuals feel fully supported, informed, and reassured throughout their surgical journey. His clinical practice encompasses a broad spectrum of procedures, ranging from complex reconstructive surgeries to refined cosmetic enhancements.

His areas of clinical interest are diverse, reflecting his extensive training in both adult and paediatric surgery. Dr Kunchur specialises in skin cancer and skin lesion surgery, including the excision of benign and malignant growths, as well as complex reconstructions of the eyelid, ear, and lip following tumour removal. He is also highly skilled in hand surgery, addressing conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, cubital tunnel syndrome, and Dupuytren's disease. Additionally, his expertise extends to corrective jaw surgery, gender affirmation facial surgery, scar revision, and a wide range of cosmetic facial and body contouring procedures designed to restore both form and function.

Dr Kunchur obtained his medical degree from the University of Adelaide in 2010 and completed his specialist training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Western Australia in 2020. He is also a registered Dentist and holds a Master's degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. To further refine his skills, he undertook advanced post-fellowship training in Cleft, Craniofacial and Paediatric Plastic Surgery at leading paediatric hospitals in Sydney and Brisbane. Dr Kunchur is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Plastic Surgery and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. He maintains active memberships with several prestigious professional bodies, including the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Australasian Society of Craniomaxillofacial Surgeons, and the Western Australian Melanoma Advisory Service.
