Mr Raman Sethi

Mr. Raman Sethi is a Melbourne-based Victorian-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in Foot and Ankle Surgery, Robotic Knee and Hip Placement and General Orthopaedic Trauma. He currently sees private patients at: Waverley Private Hospital, Northpark Private Hospital, Epworth Eastern Hospital, Warringal Private Hospital, St Vincent Private Hospital and La Trobe Private Hospital. In his current clinical practice, he offers a comprehensive lower limb service, treating traumatic and degenerative conditions of the foot, ankle, knee, and hip. He also has specialist expertise in using robotic technology for total knee and hip replacement surgeries.

Mr Sethi completed his medical degree at the University of Delhi, India in 2002, followed by his postgraduate training at the same university. He later relocated to Australia and completed his specialist orthopaedic training across Metropolitan Melbourne and Rural Victorian Hospitals. He became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2019 and is a Fellow of the Australia Orthopaedic Association (FAOrthA).

In addition to his clinical work, he is involved in teaching and research, Mr Sethi holds a public appointment at Northern Health. He has a strong academic background, having published and presented in international meetings. Additionally, he has held teaching positions to train registrars, medical students, and allied health professionals.
