Raghavan completed Fellowship in Arthroplasty and Trauma at the Royal Adelaide Hospital before moving to Melbourne in 2000 to work in both rural and metropolitan areas.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a member of the Australian Orthopaedic Association.(AOA)

Raghavan utilises advanced technology such as computer navigation, 3-D printed models and Patient Specific Instruments (PSI) and Robotic Assisted Surgery (RAS) for hip and knee replacements and revision surgeries. He has a special interest in complex hip and knee surgeries including revision surgeries.

Following excellent results from my husbands knee replacement some 6 years ago I opted for Mr Unni to do my Total Hip Replacement. It is 3 weeks since this took place with a week in hospital and 2 weeks in rehab. Home today and getting about on one crutch and almost no pain. Doing some out patient follow up rehab over the next few weeks. More than happy with the whole exercise from first appointment through to the current time. Mr Unni has been excellent in his operational skills and his communication with both myself and my husband throughout the time involved.

I found Mr Unni to be very thorough in all aspects pre and post surgery. Any questions or concerns I had he addressed them all and made me feel comfortable and confident in my hip replacement surgery. I am beyond thrilled with the outcome of my surgery, I am finally pain free after so many years. Thank you Mr. Unni.

Extremely professional in his explanation of what the procedure involved, his medical and administrative team streamlined the medical procedure particularly in the context of covid 19 pandemic and cutbacks to elective surgery during this time which was greatly appreciated. His follow-up to the post surgery was excellent and thorough. I would not hesitate in recommending Mr Unni to family and friends in regards to medical procedures of this nature being performed by him and his team. Thank you!!!

Dr Unni is a very caring doctor, who did an amazing job fixing my leg and hip, I can walk again with little to no pain. So very thankful.

Mr Unni is a beautiful man, with a great attitude to his Profession, he explanes everything in words that you can understand. he makes you so comfortable in your time of indecision, and doesn't push his ideas on to you, thus making the decision to proceed or not solely up to Patient, once you have all the information that you need. I have no reservation at all in proceeding with any further treatments that i may need in the future, or to recommend his surgical skills on to other friends or others that may require his help.
