Dr Radha Popuri

Dr Radha Popuri is a highly accomplished Consultant Interventional Radiologist who specialises in minimally invasive, image-guided procedures. He is dedicated to providing patients with advanced, non-surgical alternatives to traditional surgery, utilising state-of-the-art imaging techniques to diagnose and treat a wide range of complex conditions. Dr Popuri is known for his compassionate, patient-centred approach, ensuring that individuals are fully informed and comfortable throughout their treatment journey.

Dr Popuri graduated with his medical degree in 2000. He then pursued extensive postgraduate training, beginning with internal medicine and oncology in the United Kingdom. He completed his specialist radiology training through a structured training scheme in Manchester, which included dedicated subspecialty training in vascular and interventional radiology. To further refine his expertise, he completed a formal fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology in the United States. Dr Popuri holds several professional memberships, including fellowships with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists and the Royal College of Radiologists in the United Kingdom. He is also a member of the Royal College of Physicians in the United Kingdom and holds the European Board of Interventional Radiology qualification. Additionally, he serves as the Treasurer and Public Officer for the Interventional Radiology Society of Australasia.

With a broad range of clinical interests, Dr Popuri focuses on interventional oncology, the management of liver disease, and advanced venous interventions. He has particular expertise in prostate artery embolisation, varicose vein treatments, and the management of vascular and lymphatic malformations.
