Dr Henora Chour

Dr Henora Chour is a Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologist specialising in advanced, minimally invasive, image-guided treatments. He graduated with his medical degree from Deakin University in 2013 before completing specialist radiology training in Australia and becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists. He subsequently undertook an international Interventional Radiology Fellowship at the University of British Columbia and Vancouver General Hospital in Canada, gaining advanced experience in complex image-guided procedures and expanding his expertise in minimally invasive vascular and interventional techniques.

Dr Chour provides image-guided treatments across a range of clinical areas, including women's health, musculoskeletal pain, oncology and vascular access. His women's health practice includes Uterine Fibroid Embolisation for the treatment of symptomatic fibroids and procedures for Pelvic Congestion Syndrome. He also has an interest in Prostate Artery Embolisation (PAE) for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). In musculoskeletal radiology, he uses image-guided techniques to target sources of pain with the aim of providing minimally invasive treatment options.

Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Chour contributes to medical education as a Conjoint Lecturer at the University of New South Wales and a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sydney. His approach centres on selecting appropriate image-guided therapies according to each patient's condition and treatment needs. He works closely with other specialists as part of multidisciplinary teams, supporting coordinated decision-making and comprehensive patient care across complex vascular, oncological and non-surgical conditions.
