Dr Pooja Sharma

Dr Pooja Sharma is a highly accomplished Consultant Dermatologist who provides comprehensive care for a diverse range of skin, hair, and nail conditions. Having completed extensive training both in Australia and overseas, she is dedicated to delivering evidence-based, personalised treatment plans. Her clinical practice encompasses a broad spectrum of dermatological care, ranging from complex medical dermatoses and inflammatory skin conditions to cosmetic enhancements and surgical interventions.

Dr Sharma has a particular interest in hair-related and scalp disorders, including hair restoration and transplant surgery. Her expertise also extends to skin cancer management, where she is highly proficient in performing skin checks, skin cancer surgeries, and minor reconstructive repairs. Additionally, she has conducted significant research into drug-related adverse effects on the skin and body, and she remains actively involved in clinical trials and the training of future medical Registrars in her field.

Dr Sharma earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2003, followed by a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Dermatology, Venereology, and Leprology in 2006. She achieved her Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 2013.
