Dr Phillip Steele

Dr Phillip Steele is a highly dedicated General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate healthcare to individuals and families. With a patient-centred approach, he focuses on delivering high-quality medical care tailored to the unique needs of each individual. Dr Steele believes in fostering strong, supportive relationships with his patients, ensuring they feel heard and well-informed throughout their healthcare journey.

Throughout his clinical career, Dr Steele has developed a particular interest in paediatrics and obstetrics. His expertise in these fields is underpinned by specialised training positions he completed in the United Kingdom. He is passionate about maternal and child health, offering expert guidance and care from early childhood through to adulthood. His broad clinical focus allows him to address a wide range of general practice needs, from preventative health and wellness promotion to the management of chronic conditions.

Dr Steele obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). He holds a Diploma of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRANZCOG) and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Steele is deeply involved in medical education and regional training. He serves as a Director for a regional medical training hub affiliated with the Rural Clinical School of the University of New South Wales, where he advocates for regional medical training and mentors the next generation of medical professionals. He also serves as the Deputy Secretary of the Border Medical Association.
