Prof. Peter Nash

As an active Clinical Researcher and Professor, Prof. Nash has clinical interests that encompass a broad range of rheumatological and metabolic bone disorders. He has a particular focus on metabolic bone disease, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and systemic lupus erythematosus. His dedication to advancing medical science through clinical trials for novel therapeutics and modern targeted biologic therapies ensures that his patients benefit from the latest evidence-based treatments.

Prof. Nash completed his medical education at the University of Queensland, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1979. He subsequently undertook specialist training, obtaining his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 1987. Throughout his career, he has held several prominent leadership roles, including serving as the Chair of both the Professional Affairs Committee and the Therapeutics Committee of the Australian Rheumatology Association, and as a Director of a prominent research unit.
