Dr Peter MacIntosh

Dr Peter MacIntosh is a highly accomplished and dedicated Radiologist who provides comprehensive diagnostic imaging services. With a career spanning several decades, he has established himself as a trusted Specialist in general radiology, diagnostic ultrasound, and teleradiology. Dr MacIntosh is committed to delivering precise and timely diagnostic reports, ensuring that patients and their referring Medical Practitioners receive the highest standard of care to guide subsequent treatments.

Dr MacIntosh completed his medical training, earning his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). He went on to achieve his Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) in 1976. In addition to his fellowship, he holds a Diploma of Diagnostic Ultrasound (DDU) and has successfully completed the Federation Licensing Examination (FLEX). Throughout his career, Dr MacIntosh has maintained active involvement in professional organisations, contributing to the advancement of radiological standards and education.

Over his distinguished career, Dr MacIntosh has held numerous senior clinical and academic appointments, including serving as an Assistant Professor of Radiology and working as a Staff Specialist at major public and private healthcare institutions. He has also played a pivotal role in the leadership and development of large-scale medical imaging networks, serving in executive leadership positions such as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director. In addition to his clinical practice as a Clinical Radiologist, Dr MacIntosh has been a pioneer in teleradiology, establishing specialised services to provide high-quality, rapid-response reporting to regional and remote hospitals.
