Dr Peter Calligeros

Dr Peter Calligeros is a dedicated and highly experienced General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, family-friendly healthcare. With a compassionate and patient-centred approach, he is committed to supporting the health and well-being of individuals across all stages of life. He has a strong focus on preventive care and chronic disease management, ensuring that his patients receive the highest standard of medical attention.

Dr Calligeros graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of New South Wales in 1979. Following his graduation, he completed his residency training to further refine his clinical skills before commencing his career as a General Practitioner. In addition to his clinical work, he is actively involved in the ongoing training and mentorship of future General Practitioners, contributing to the development of the next generation of medical professionals.

Throughout his career, Dr Calligeros has developed a broad range of clinical interests within primary care. His expertise encompasses preventive health checks, adult and childhood immunisations, baby health monitoring, and cancer screenings. He also provides support for mental health and well-being through counselling, and manages various chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension. Fluent in both English and Greek, he is able to effectively communicate with and support patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
