Dr Paula Moir

Dr Paula Moir is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, evidence-based care tailored to the unique needs of each patient. With a focus on preventative medicine and long-term wellbeing, she takes an individualised and ethical approach to healthcare. Dr Moir believes in fostering authentic, supportive relationships with her patients, guiding them through their health journeys with empathy and professional expertise.

In her clinical practice, Dr Moir has a strong interest in women's health, particularly in supporting patients through perimenopause and menopause. She offers expert guidance on managing hormonal changes, menstrual health, and conditions such as endometriosis. Additionally, she is passionate about preventative heart health for women, helping patients identify cardiovascular risks early by assessing factors like reproductive history, blood pressure, and insulin resistance. Her holistic approach also encompasses mental health support, providing compassionate care for depression, anxiety, and hormone-related mood symptoms such as premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD).

Dr Moir completed her medical education at Monash University, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with Honours in 1997. Committed to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence, she obtained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She also holds a Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, which further enhances her expertise in women's health and shared maternity care. Additionally, she is a qualified Yoga Teacher, reflecting her integrated perspective on physical and mental wellbeing.
